Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 60-90 minutes

Ingredients

  • A can of sprite

  • 1/2 cup to 1 cup brown sugar

  • A can of pineapple rings

  • 7-9 lb Tollefson Family Pork bone-in ham

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350.

2. Place ham in a roasting pan.

3. Score the ham - cut slits into outside.

4. Place pineapple rings on top of the ham. (Save the juice from the pineapple rings.)

5. Mix the brown sugar, pineapple juice, and some of the sprite in a medium bowl.

6. Brush glaze on the ham until there is about 1/2 cm of glaze pooled in the bottom of the roaster.

7. Cook in preheated oven for about 45 - 60 mins. During cook-time, brush on more glaze every 20-30 minutes.

8. Carve the ham and place back in the roasting pan.

9. Pour the remainder of the glaze on top of the cut-up ham. Also use a baster to redistribute glaze from the bottom of the roaster to the top of the cut-up ham.

10. (optional) Put a piece of tin foil over the roasting pan. Poke some small holes in the tin foil. Take the excess fat and other pieces from the carving and put them on top of the tin foil.

11. Put back in the oven for another 20-30 minutes.

12. When heated through, serve and enjoy!
